Sushi with Xander...

Big day! Tonight, after lunch with my friends and selling my car, my mom and I went out for sushi with my nephew.

Xander is not normally a big eater, and lately he has been a little fussy, but tonight he ate with gusto! Edemame, miso soup, rice, and, especially, tofu...he loved them all. The fun part was watching him hold the bowls with two hands and say "hot" after each gulp of soup. A video...


This kid is constantly getting spoken to in 3 different languages. My mom speaks to him in Spanish, his other grandparents speak to him in Vietnamese, and everyone else in English. It's never too early...
